How to have your say

RESIDENTS’ views are being sought into the proposals in the consultation.

There are a number of opportunities for people to have their say before the December 7 deadline, including public drop-in sessions.

Residents can also visit Copeland’s website at www. copeland.gov.uk to send feedback, and further details will be provided in the next edition of Copeland Matters, delivered to every home.

The council says: “It is important that if you want your views to be considered that you attend a drop-in session or complete the response form – either online or in hard copy. That way, we can ensure that your views are recorded and considered.”

After December 7, the council says it will analyse the feedback and consider alternative proposals, before the Executive makes its recommendations before a meeting of the full council makes the final decisions in February 2013. All changes will be implemented by March 2015.
