How’s that for a Head’s start?

ST BEES School’s new headmaster has enjoyed a wet ’n’ wild introduction to the community.
James Davies was on a visit to St Bees before beginning his new role in September, and joined in the fun at the village’s summer festival last week.
As well as the other fun and games on offer, visiting firefighters from Whitehaven had prepared a giant soap and water slide, on which the children – and Mr Davies – enjoyed making a splash.
