A WHITEHAVEN duo is taking on 13 events in 13 months to raise money for Hospice at Home.

cOUNT ON US: Bill Pitman and Phil Neen as they start their Th13teen in 13 challenge

By Mark White

Phil Neen and Bill Pitman both lost relations to cancer and will now help to raise money for the charity.

The challenge will include taking part in duathlons, triathlons and ultra marathons, all starting this month.

This will also include ‘guest events’ in which anyone can help to raise money for the cause.

“It’s a fantastic cause and we decided we wanted to do something that would raise money for a local charity,” said Phil.

“It’s a cause close to both Bill and myself and hopefully we can raise an amount of money that will make a difference.”

Keep updated with all of their events by following the ‘Th13teen in 13’ Facebook page.
