Trust’s takeover director's new role

THE woman who has been helping the takeover process of the West Cumberland Hospital and Cumberland Infirmary has been seconded to work for another trust.

Caroline Griffiths is still employed by the North Cumbria University Hospitals Trust as director of acquisition but will be working for Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust as the director of corporate planning and projects for the time being.

Mrs Griffiths moved to the new trust on August 17 and, as she had completed everything to do with the takeover locally, will not be replaced at this stage.

The Trust is being taken over by Northumbria Healthcare Foundation Trust.
