Harbour motor show in town

THE popular Whitehaven Harbour Motor Show returns this Saturday.

The event, now in its fourth year and hosted by CN Group – publishers of The Whitehaven News – will showcase new cars from West Cumbria’s motor dealerships.

Held on the town’s harbourside from 10am, it will also include live music, dance theatre, fairground rides, food and drink stalls. New to the show this year will be a selection of classic cars including the Porsche Owners Club North West.

Stephen McCullough, CN Group’s business development director, said: “This event is unique to West Cumbria and I am very proud to be associated with it in my home town. We want everyone to benefit more including the local high street traders who should see extra footfall from this event. I am keen for more people and businesses to get involved this year and make the event the biggest yet.”
