ST Benedict’s School pupils were treated like glamorous stars at their glitzy end-of-year prom.
A special evening was held at The Castle Inn, Bassenthwaite, where students enjoyed a tasty buffet followed by an awards ceremony, then dancing the night away to Dave’s Disco.
Ann Brook, head teacher, said: “It was a splendid evening.”
Kay Woodcock, head of Year 11, and Anne Carr organised the event, while Jane Walker and Karen Mackay organised the awards.
Transport from the school to the venue was provided by 3D Travel, while photographs of the farewell event were taken by ICT technician, Dean Dawson.
Organisers extended thanks to the staff at The Castle Inn for making it such a memorable evening, and also to the students.
