Keswick School is ‘outstanding’

KESWICK School is celebrating after Ofsted inspectors rated all aspects of it as outstanding.
Inspectors visited three weeks ago, just days after the school became an academy to gain greater freedom over its governance.
The Ofsted report said Keswick continued to be an outstanding school.
Inspectors received almost 250 responses from parents, largely stating overwhelming support.
They noted how well 11 to 16-year-olds achieved, especially boys and pupils with special educational needs or disabilities.
Mike Chapman, head teacher, said: “After the success in acquiring academy status we are delighted to be graded outstanding in every category.”
