ST Gregory and St Patrick's school council held their first car boot sale in the new community building last Saturday.
Visitors were welcomed with a free raffle ticket by the youngsters.
Nearly 90 customers were counted through the doors and £186.81 was raised on the day with a further £51 in donations.
The school council met on Monday to discuss how the children in the school would benefit from these funds and it is hoped to organise a fun day with circus skills’ training.
