GATES will open an hour early for the first of the Sunday concerts at the Whitehaven Diamond Festival - and there'll be a break as the Red Arrows fly in.
The Lottery Winners will now be performing at 4.30pm, and then all eyes will be on the skies as the Red Arrows dazzle with their aerobatic display from 5pm.
The concerts then resume with Simon Townshend on stage fropm 5.30pm. The Enemy and The Charlatans will then follow.
World famous magician Dynamo is due at the Sugar Tongue at about 3pm. Much in demand, he has travelled the globe with his jaw-dropping stunts and performed in front of stars such as Will Smith, Lindsay Lohan, Jay-Z and Natalie Imbruglia.
Millions of Youtube viewers have watched his tricks in wonder.
Dynamo – real name Steven Frayne – performs mind-blowing close-up magic as well as incredible stunts such as the famous “walking” on the River Thames; making Little Britain’s Matt Lucas levitate and turning signed lottery tickets into cash.
In his television series In Dynamo: Magician Impossible, the 29-year-old mesmerises everyone he meets. He is expected to arrive in Whitehaven on Sunday around 3pm and will be meeting people as well as performing some close-up magic at the Sugar Tongue.
An impressive line-up of celebrities has headed to town this weekend – Jean Christophe Novelli, Ainsley Harriott, Michelle Collins, Sean Wilson, Anton du Beke, Katherine Jenkins, Steve Harley, Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers, Showaddywaddy, The Three Degrees, The Real Thing and Odyssey.
And the traditional mind-boggling firework display returned on Saturday night with a red, white and blue theme in honour of the Queen's diamond jubilee.
