A MAN was yesterday (Wednesday) being questioned by police over an alleged crossbow siege in Millom.
Police confirmed that a 47-year-old who was arrested following an incident in Lord Street on Tuesday was still being interviewed.
Reports of a domestic incident between two people in the street were received at 2.40pm. When police arrived a man was safely removed from the property.
Police negotiators attended the scene and brought the situation under control and no-one was injured.
