THIMBLEBERRY, stink currant and salal were just three fruits offered by Susan Edwards for members’ contemplation following her recent botanical studies during a visit to British Columbia, incidentally learning of the mores of the native coastal peoples such as the Tinglit, the Kwakwaka’ wakw and the Haida, known generally as the First Nations.
