Choir full of festive song

SHOPPERS had a festive treat this weekend – thanks to Whitehaven Male Voice Choir.
Gents from the popular choir were in full voice on Saturday morning, entertaining Tesco customers with carols and festive cheer.
The annual sing-along continues the choir’s ongoing fundraising campaign, with shoppers invited to make a donation, proceeds of which will be donated to West Cumbria Hospice at Home and the urology department of the West Cumberland Hospital.
The choir had a similar collection in Dunmail Park, and held a concert in St James’ Church. They will make the presentation in the New Year.
