Busted’s James joins Festival line-up

BUSTED’S James Bourne will be supporting McFly at their concert on the opening night of the Whitehaven Festival.

The sell-out gig takes place on Friday, June 21, and the former Busted guitarist will be performing for the crowds.

James Bourne wrote the majority of Busted’s two albums with bandmates Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson alongside McFly’s Tom Fletcher. Hits included Sleeping With The Lights On, Year 3000, Air Hostess, Crash The Wedding and What I Go To School For. James and Tom then went on to pen the majority of McFly’s debut album.

Also supporting on the night will be indie pop band The Vamps who became an internet sensation with their cover of One Direction’s Live While We’re Young and have just signed with EMI.
