MP Jamie backing business campaign

COPELAND MP Jamie Reed has stated his support for the Federation of Small Businesses’ new campaign to support ‘Real-Life Entrepreneurs’.
Mr Reed has become the fourth Cumbrian MP to support the campaign, following John Woodcock, Rory Stewart and Tim Farron over recent months.
The campaign seeks to create a positive environment which will allow small businesses to lead economic recovery.
Gary Lovatt, FSB regional chairman, said: “We are delighted that Jamie Reed has stated his support for our campaign.
“In the current climate it is vital that we look to support entrepreneurs, start-ups and small businesses to allow them to grow and provide the jobs which can help to steer economic recovery.
“We have lots of great small businesses in the local area and we need to encourage more people to start and grow a business, so the support of our local MPs is greatly appreciated.”
The FSB is organising a meeting between Mr Reed and local small businesses to discuss the economic climate on June 22.
