AROUND 80 per cent of Copeland’s food businesses are complying with food safety legislation, achieving three-stars or higher in the Scores-on-the-Doors rating system.
Under the rating scheme, 331 out of 395 inspected premises were awarded either three-star ‘good’ or four-star ‘very good’ ratings. Ten had five stars – and five gained none.
