Mayor shows off the best of our borough

MAYOR of Copeland, Anne Faichney, welcomed fellow civic leaders to the Borough of Copeland last month.
Following a welcome at The Beacon, the group were taken on a tour of Rosehill Theatre, West Lakes Science and Research Centre and the Rum Story. Lunch was at the Ennerdale Country Hotel.
Among them were Mayor and Mayoress of Millom, Jack and Patricia Park; the High Sheriff of Cumbria, Graham Lamont and Mrs Maggie Lamont; the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress of Allerdale, Allan and Elsie Caine; Mayor of Barrow, Ken Williams; the Deputy Mayor and Consort of Carlisle, Jacqueline Geddis and William Geddis; chairman of Cumbria County Council, Tom Clare; chairman of Eden District Council, Keith Fawcett; and Mayor and Mayoress of Workington, Nick Hardy and Lucy Wilson.
