A MANAGER at Sellafield is celebrating winning a prestigious industry award.
Barry Groggins, who works for Redhall Nuclear and is Site 5 manager at Sellafield, won the Commitment to People Award.
Mr Groggins lives in Whitehaven and has worked for Redhall for 15 years. He collected his award at a celebratory dinner held by parent company Redhall Group plc.
Helen Simms, managing director for Redhall Nuclear, said: “Barry demonstrated the importance of commitment to training and the development of others. I would go so far as to say that, without his support, the Redhall apprentice programme would not be as strong as it is today.”
