Armed police arrest man, 52

The man is now in police custody and is helping them with their inquiries.
Police were called to the incident at 7.45am after reports of a man acting in a threatening way from his house towards nearby workmen. There had been unconfirmed reports that he might have had a gun.
Armed officers were deployed and people were urged to stay away from the area.
Police have thanked local residents for their cooperation.
