A CIRCUS with a strictly human touch is on its way to Whitehaven soon.
There are no animals involved as Circus Vegas promises to bring the wow factor to West Cumbria.
Established across the United States, Circus Vegas has already started its first UK tour which so far has included performances in Carlisle and Barrow.
Whitehaven, Workington and Maryport are on the West Cumbria schedule.
The spectacular American show is due to hit Whitehaven for five days, sometime in July. No specific dates are fixed yet but the venue is to be the Whitehaven Miners’ field off Coach Road.
Top features include Kim Kenneth, described as one of the world’s leading illusionists who worked the celebrated Las Vegas strip.
And direct from Florida comes Captain Monoze, a human cannonball who will be shot right across the Big Top at 70 mph.
“The show ends with what has to be one of the most dangerous acts in the world – the Globe of Death as featured in Top Gear Live,” said a member of the promotion team.
Trapeze artists, clowns, acrobats and many other acts will fit into an action-packed two hours.
