A pensioner has been told to buy his fish and chips somewhere else, after he admitted breaching a restraining order.
Mohammad Ramzan, 68, appeared at Carlisle Crown Court yesterday where he admitted acting in breach of a restraining order.
The court heard that on January 13 he approached Corrine Wilson without reasonable excuse, by entering Crosby's fish and chip shop in Whitehaven.
In doing so he breached the terms of a restraining order he was given last year by magistrates, who found him guilty of harassing Ms Wilson during a 12-month period up to December 2015.
He was ordered not to approach or contact Ms Wilson as part of a punishment, which included a suspended eight-week prison term.
The crown court case was adjourned and Ramzan, of Lonsdale Court, Whitehaven and a long-time stallholder at the town's market, was told he would be sentenced on March 16.
He was granted conditional bail and told not to enter Crosby's fish and chip shop.
