Whitehaven Academy will be open as normal tomorrow as strike action is called off.
Members of the NASUWT teaching union had been due to go on strike at the academy which is run by the Bright Tribe Trust.
A trust spokesperson said this evening: "NASUWT has cancelled all further strike action at The Whitehaven Academy and the school will be open as normal to all year groups tomorrow morning (Thursday).
"A letter from the union was received early evening. The school is currently working hard to notify as many parents as possible."
A notification has also been posted on the academy's website.
