West coastal trains delayed after problem near railway
Trains between Carlisle and Barrow have been delayed.
Nobody from Northern was available to comment on the reason behind the delays and cancellations.
Its journey update website said: "The Carlisle to Barrow-In-Furness due 7.10pm will be started from Workington.
"It will no longer call at Carlisle, Dalston, Wigton, Aspatria, Maryport and Flimby.
"This is due to a problem near the railway."
The 2.35pm from Carlisle to Barrow train was delayed by 15 minutes.
The site said: "This is due to a problem currently under investigation."
