West Cumbria's new Domino's Pizza is opening today, creating 25 jobs.
The branch, on Tangier Street in Whitehaven, is offering the first 100 people through its doors a free pizza to celebrate.
It has taken over part of the building formerly occupied by the Ali-Taj restaurant, which closed in January.
Ali-Taj owner Nowab Ali said expensive overheads in the building meant the Indian restaurant was no longer viable.
He has bought the former Turkuaz kebab shop to run an Indian takeaway instead.
Workers have been on site to transform the former restaurant into a Domino's branch for two months.
A spokesman for Domino’s said: "We’re really excited to have found such good premises right in the heart of Whitehaven community.”
Domino's will officially open at 4pm.
