Coldplay, Alan Titchmarsh and Mary Berry all feature on a West Cumbrian florist's client list.

And Helen Benson, who owns Decoflora, is currently watching her latest creations on ITV2's reality show Love Island.

Helen received a snap £9,000 order from a freelance stylist a couple of months ago for 1,000 pieces which were to be shipped out to the Majorcan villa.

And she admits that she's been glued to the reality show every night, which sees couples fight it out to win £50,000, ever since it kicked off a couple of weeks ago.

"We supplied everything at the villa, apart from the trees," said Helen. "I've been watching the show and feel quite proud with it. I was very amused when they (the contestants) were moving them around to hide behind."

But decorating the Love Island villa isn't the biggest order she's had over the years.

During the past 12 months the family-run business on the Clay Flatts Industrial Estate has provided flowers for Coldplay's world tour, with the first order costing £25,000.

She's also supplied pieces for a long-list of stylists working on pieces for Disney's Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast films, Jo Malone's Christmas campaign, the X Factor and Made in Chelsea.

And just this week, they've sent flowers out to Royal Ascot.

Helen opened the business 26 years ago, handing it over to her mum to run. When her mum sadly passed away seven-and-a-half years ago, she stepped back into the leading role.

And it's a real family affair as her dad, Geoff Billingham and her brother-in-law both work there.

Helen says she's incredibly grateful to her local custom, which has supported her over the years.

"Without them we wouldn't be where we are today," she added.
