Cumbria's new crime commissioner, Peter McCall, will be made aware of Cleator Moor Town Council's CCTV scheme interest.

Despite a communication breakdown after the council's expression of interest in the scheme, the new commissioner has been handed documents from the Richard Rhodes' period as commissioner.

Town council clerk Helen Gilmour, emailed the former commissioner's office to inquire about a £12,000 camera which would be monitored in Penrith earlier this year.
