POP opera group Voce will perform live at a charity concert in West Cumbria in July.

The vocal four-piece appear at Whitehaven Castle Rotary Club's Musical Evening at the Solway Hall on Friday July 21.

Singing popular music with a classical twist, Phil McIntosh, Iain Nicholson, Chris Warby and Mark Johnson have become one of Cumbria’s best-loved live acts, and have also had an appearance supporting Britain’s Got Talent winners Collabro and Brit Award winner Denise Pearson at Lytham Live.

Last year they released their debut album, Per Sempre - which features tracks written and made famous by the likes of Josh Groban, Il Divo, Tim Rice and Dianne Warren - as well as a number of universally popular hits and lesser-known songs.

This live show sees them take on material from Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, The Tenors, Elvis Presley, Blake,Elton John, Snow Patrol, Michael Ball, Hits of the West End and more.

Voce are a blend of spectacular high voices combined with mellow power giving a new and exciting sound. Phil and Iain provide the exhilarating top tenor voices, while Chris’ cultured second tenor compliments and enhances the sound allowing Mark’s rich baritone to complete the sound.

Tickets are priced £10 in advance, and are available at Whitehaven Civic Hall or can be booked by phoning Whitehaven Castle Rotary Club on 01946 590458 or 01946 694673. They will also be available priced £12 on the door.

All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Pride of Cumbria Air Ambulance and Cumbria Blood Bikes.
