Sixteen roads remain closed today following a day of chaos as the county was battered with heavy rain.
Two flood warnings and 15 flood alerts also remain in force.

Yesterday's downpour brought severe disruption to the county.
Homes in Egremont, Frizington, Cleator and Lamplugh were flooded.
The main A595 was hard hit with children returning home from Millom School to West Cumbria stranded on a coach at Muncaster for hours until the route was safe enough to drive.
At Blennerhasset, the River Ellen came close to bursting its banks but the area's flood defences did their job, keeping homes protected.
According to the Environment Agency, the only two flood warnings in place currently are for Keswick Campsite and the River Cocker at Southwaite Bridge. Flood warnings mean flooding is expected and immediate action is required by those at risk.
The Met Office said this morning that today will be a much dryer day, though some heavy rain is expected tomorrow – initially in the morning and then later in the afternoon.
