Two people were freed by fire crews after a two-car crash.
Emergency services were called to the collision on Homewood Road, Whitehaven, involving a Honda CRV and an Audi A3, at about 4pm on Wednesday.
Both drivers - a 54-year-old man from North Yorkshire and a 29-year-old woman from Liverpool - were treated for injuries, although the nature of these is unknown.
The road was closed for 90 minutes.
