A TEENAGER has denied falsely imprisoning a woman.

Bradley John Marsh, 19, faces a total of five charges, including assaulting and unlawfully imprisoning the female on two separate dates – November 1 last year and January 18.

He is also accused of actual bodily harm assault, and two counts of assault by beating. These relate to the same woman and all occurred in Workington.

Appearing before Carlisle Crown Court, Mr Marsh, of High Lea, Egremont, denied all the charges.

He is due to go on trial in the week of September 28. He was remanded on conditional bail.
