When the 2015 avalanche devastated Everest's base camp, Cumbrian climber Tim Mosedale was there.
Now he's raising funds on behalf of the families of the three sherpas in his team who were killed by the avalanche.
On Wednesday at 7.45pm, he will be giving a talk to Whitehaven Rambling Club as part of that fundraising drive – a talk which will include his experiences on Everest and that fateful day in April 2015.
Admission is £2, including refreshments, and the talk takes place at the United Reformed Church Hall, Market Place, Whitehaven.
