One of the UK's premier Freddie Mercury tributes will be joined by his live Queen tribute band on stage in Whitehaven tomorrow (Saturday).

A month after the famous frontman would have turned 70, Johnny Will brings his acclaimed live show to the Solway Hall at Whitehaven Civic Hall.

The full band replicate the extravagant live performance with accomplished musicianship and high energy show.

Johnny Will performs with 100 per cent live vocals, mannerisms and stagecraft to replicate his hero with uncanny resemblance.

With more than 20 years experience on the road with various bands, he has also fronted an ELO tribute and taken to the stage as a guitarist too.

A big part of the show is the way Will faithfully recreates the image, voice and flamboyancy of the great man himself – from the stunning vocals to the mannerisms, and from the outlandish costumes to the moustache.

The set-list includes all the biggest hits from throughout Queen's career, with Another One Bites The Dust, We Are The Champions, We Will Rock You, I Want to Break Free and Bohemian Rhapsody, as well as many more well-known tracks from their extensive back catalogue.

The show starts at 7.30pm, and tickets are available from the Civic Hall box office.
