Car enthusiasts are revving up for the return of the popular Whitehaven Harbour Motorshow this weekend.

A host of dealerships are supporting the annual event on Saturday and Sunday (10am to 4pm), showcasing their latest models and new ranges.

Confirmed to attend, from both the local area and further afield, are Audi, Jaguar, Renault, Volkswagen, Suzuki, Hyundai, BMW, Mini, Seat, Mazda, Skoda, Mitsubishi and more.

The event has been organised by CN Group, publishers of The Whitehaven News. The firm’s advertising director, Stephen McCullough, said: “It’s once again a pleasure to see so much commitment from the local and countywide dealerships, all supporting the event and giving their valuable time away from the showrooms.

“This event continues to grow every year and more and more people appreciate the no-pressure environment when looking at the superb new cars on offer.”

Matt Saul, CN Group’s motors manager, added: “Whitehaven is a unique town with a splendid harbour and backdrop, and it’s truly great to see footfall from the motorshow spilling into the local shops.”
