A DOG has died after it was poisoned by slug pellets at a farm in West Cumbria.
It was one of a number of dogs poisoned by an intruder at a farm in Arlecdon, near Frizington
All the dogs were affected and another suffered serious brain injuries
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “A number of working dogs have been enclosed in three pens when someone has entered the farm yard, let them out and fed them meat laced with slug pellets.
It happened between Monday, August 17, and Tuesday, August 18.
