Plans have been revealed to turn the former B & H Motors garage on High Street in Whitehaven into a snooker hall and bar.
Scott McKelvey, of Moresby Parks, has lodged a planning application to Copeland Council for change of use of the building.
In the application it states the proposed opening hours would be between 10am and 11pm and the business would employ six part-time workers, or the equivalent of four full-time.
The car dealership relocated from the building to new premises in Lillyhall earlier this year.
