HOURS of continuous music will aim to boost funds for The West Lakes Music Centre.
A sponsored play will be held on Tuesday, June 21 from 6.30-9.30pm at The Meeting Place, Egremont Methodist Church.
First up will be the Centre's community orchestra with Susan Ellis guiding the musicians through a selection of songs including Abba’s Dancing Queen, Teddy Bears’ Picnic and The Flintstones' theme song.
This will be followed with a selection of solo to small ensemble music with the wind band taking over from 8pm led by Simon Yeo.
The West Lakes Music Centre meet each Tuesday, during term time, at Egremont Methodist Church from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.
It is open to all children, young people and adults who can read music, and play woodwind and brass instruments including percussion.
