A Cumbrian couple who failed to return home from a holiday in the Canary Islands have been found.
Janine Phelps, 34, and Christopher Graham, from Whitehaven, travelled to Gran Canaria from Manchester Airport on May 18.
They were due to arrive home following their week-long break on May 25.
The pair, who were staying at the Las Palmas Hotel on the island, were believed to have missed a flight home – though it was not confirmed whether or not they checked in at Gran Canaria airport.
They had not been heard from since last Monday, May 29.
A police spokesman said: "Police can confirm that missing couple Janine Phelps and Christopher Graham were found safe and well. Thank you to all those who assisted with the appeal."
