MCDONALD'S staff collected 15 bags of rubbish from St Bees following a major litter pick.
Twenty volunteers from the Whitehaven and Workington stores pulled on their gloves to tackle areas including the beach, grassed areas around the play park and car park, as well as land towards the cliffs.
Included in the volunteers were the business managers from each store, Viktorija Gorelconokaite, of Whitehaven, and Lee Green, of Workington.
Volunteers split into groups and took just under two hours to fill their bags as part of McDonald's Love Where You Live campaign.
The staff have previous carried out clean-ups at Whitehaven harbourside, town centre and Castle Park.
McDonald's was one of the founding members of Keep Britain Tidy’s anti-littering campaign and continue to sponsor it.
In 2015, restaurant teams organised over 380 clean up events, and over 11,000 staff members and local volunteers were involved.
