Police arrested a teenager on suspicion of assault after a man's nose was broken in an attack.
The victim was head-butted twice in the Roc Bar, Whitehaven, and then punched in the face in the car park outside a chip shop on Tangier Street. He suffered heavy bleeding and a broken nose as a result.
Police are investigating the assault which happened at around 3am on Tuesday, December 27.
A 17-year-old man from Cleator was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been bailed until Tuesday, February 7.
Police are urging any witnesses to come forward and contact PC Alistair Jones on 101.
