A man driving a mobility scooter was assaulted in Whitehaven.
It happened near the entrance to the West Cumberland Hospital in Hensingham, between 7.30pm and 8pm on Friday.
The victim was a man in his 60s.
The suspect is a man wearing a black T-Shirt and black shorts.
No further details have been released but police are appealing for witnesses to call 101.
