A man has died after a crash in west Cumbria.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a serious crash in west Cumbria at about 2.10pm today.
The Pride of Cumbria Great North Air Ambulance joined land ambulances, firefighters and multiple police cars at the incident in Kells, Whitehaven.
The crash involved one car, which crashed into a wall surrounding a park near the junction of High Road and Monkwray Road.
The car driver, a 73-year-old man from the Whitehaven area, died at the scene.
Witnesses are urged to call Sergeant 615 Brown at Durranhill on 101.
