AN 18-year-old man has been charged following an alleged armed robbery at a rural post office.
Paul Roger Farish, of Moor Place, Frizington, appeared before West Cumbria Magistrates Court in Workington on Saturday.
He was charged with robbery and possessing an imitation firearm.
He was remanded in custody. He will next appear before Carlisle Crown Court on December 7.
Police were called to the post office at Main Street, Frizington, early on October 28 after reports of an armed robbery.
A man, aged, 19, who was also arrested has been bailed by police until December 14.
