A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident in Egremont.
The road at Cringlethwaite Terrace was cordoned off while police carried out investigations around 9am yesterday.
A 39-year-old was taken to hospital with minor injuries following the incident which happened in a house on the terrace.
