A man has admitted a string of driving and drug offences following a police pursuit in a West Cumbrian town.
Colin Berry, 25, of Shore Road, Workington, appeared before Workington magistrates yesterday and admitted dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
He also admitted possessing heroin, amphetamine and a class C drug, and committing criminal damage. He was remanded in custody.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the pursuit, which started on Needham Drive, Workington at 10.26am on Sunday and ended on Moorclose Road.
It involved a green Volvo V70 VRM, registration R537 GUB.
Officers would especially like to speak to a cyclist who was climbing Salterbeck Road towards Holden Road who had to take cover between two parked cars.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Cumbria police on 101 quoting log number 98 of June 18.
