Elle Wood - part Malibu Barbie, part Miss Marple - is the star of the hugely successful Hollywood film Legally Blonde which this year marks its 15th anniversary.
And Whitehaven and District Amateur Operatics Society are joined Cowper's School of Dance to present a musical version of the much-loved 2001 hit film in Whitehaven starting tonight (Tuesday).
Hannah Dorney takes on the lead role of Elle Woods - made famous by Reese Witherspoon - and is accompanied by a talented cast, not least Rosie as Elle's trusty pooch Bruiser.
Directed by Ann Simpson, the show takes place at Whitehaven Civic Hall from Tuesday until Saturday at 7.30pm.
