A series of public meetings are taking place this week to gauge people’s reactions to Copeland Council’s budget proposals.

The meetings, held as part of the public consultation process, continue at The Beacon, Whitehaven, tomorrow at 5pm and Millom Network Centre on Friday at 7.30am.

Copeland mayor Mike Starkie said: “I would encourage as many of you as possible to attend and find out more about plans to make this fantastic borough of Copeland an even better place to live, work and visit.”
