The funeral takes place next week of an Egremont man whose body was found in the River Ehen on Christmas Eve.
Cumbria police confirmed on Thursday last week that David Hornsby, of Beck Green, was found in the river at Egremont during a massive search operation for the 32-year-old.
Police issued a public appeal for information on Christmas Eve after becoming concerned for the welfare of Mr Hornsby, who was last seen at Beck Green at 2am that morning.
A search operation was launched, with police and mountain rescue teams focusing on the River Ehen. Mr Hornsby's death is not believed to be suspicious.
Mr Hornsby is described as a "dearly loved son of David and Tricia, and stepson of Ian, a much-loved brother of Leanne and Gemma, brother-in-law to Ian, and a loving uncle."
His funeral takes place on Monday at 11.15am at Distington Hall Crematorium, and the family asks for donations, if desired, to the Epilepsy Society or Cancer Research UK, c/o Adams, Reeds and Hocking Funeral Directors at Cleator Moor.
