THE most colourful children’s show of the summer arrives in Cumbria next week.

FunBox is the new show from Anya Scott-Rodgers, Gary Coupland and Kevin Macleod, and they like to lift the lid on some exciting adventures.

On Tuesday they bring their Animal Magic story to Whitehaven Civic Hall. There will be songs and silliness galore in this exciting show and of course keys to find to open the FunBox, which has everything you need to sing a song or have an adventure.

With classic songs like Down in the Jungle, Three Craws and The Bear Hunt along with catchy new songs, the show is a singalong experience for families and friends of all ages.

Bringing a wealth of experience from their days as performers and writers of The Singing Kettle, the trio have decided to create a sparkling new show for kids, maintaining the balance of traditional singalong songs and brand new compositions, but with a distinctly Scottish flavour.

Their cheeky dog, Bonzo, is also coming along – and get ready to meet loads of new characters too.

FunBox comes to Whitehaven Civic Hall on Tuesday, and tickets are available from the venue’s box office.
