IT will be bloomin' marvellous this Thursday as florists from Whitehaven's Morrisons store leave summer posies in locations across the town for residents.
The supermarket is hoping the flowers -- placed in parks, bus stops and shopping areas -- will perk up people over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Sue Wells, Morrisons Whitehaven store manager, said: "Our florists know how changeable the weather has been this summer and wanted to cheer everyone up.
"We hope that people who find these brightly-coloured posies across Whitehaven will pick them up, take them home, and enjoy having their little splash of warming colour in their house.”
The posies will be made up with Germini.
