CHRISTMAS fun will come to the North Lakes Foodbank Centre in Egremont later this month.
On Tuesday, December 20, the centre will be hosting a free family event between 1.30pm and 3pm. Children will be able to visit Santa, listen to nativity stories, take part in craft activities and enjoy Christmas treats.
The event, which is free, will include refreshments and will be held in The Meeting Place, Egremont Methodist Church, Main Street.
The centre has previously held free crafts afternoons for youngsters, with a seaside-themed session in July.
North Lakes Foodbank will be distributing 'Lunchpacks 4 Kids' for the Christmas Holidays to support those who rely on free school meals. Donations would be appreciated. For more information visit www.thefoodbank.org.uk
