A WACKY race in Ennerdale has brought in more than £400 for three charities.
Ennerdale Brewery's barrel race saw teams of two run from from The Brewery Tap at Rowrah to the Fox and Hounds at Ennerdale for a distance of approximately two-and-a-half miles carrying an empty barrel between team members.
A spokesman for the brewery said: "Thanks to everyone who attended our barrel run, hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
"The sun was out, the kids were happily playing and the land lubbers were singing, what more could you ask for!
"We raised an amazing £405, so the three chosen charities, Parkinsons, Alzheimer's & Cancer Research all get £135 each, which is fantastic.
"Well done to the winners Raz Ma Taz who ran the route in 21:48, a brilliant effort and a new record."
